This weekend, NASCAR actions comes from the Pennsylvania 400. The race kicks off on Sunday. Before you finalize your daily fantasy NASCAR roster, take a quick look here so that you can better plan which drivers you will be including at the top of your team’s roster.

Kevin Harvick: Kevin Harvick has the best average finishing position of any driver in this race with a 9.2. He also has the best average fantasy score per race with his 62.8. Harvick is also the second most expensive driver in the field with his salary standing at $10,400. That’s not too pricey, considering the fact that he has the strongest stats in the field by far. He has made the top ten 17 out of 23 times, and although he finished only 6th in his last race, he has a win to his credit this year. This indicates that even if he doesn’t win this race, he is consistent and almost a sure bet to finish in the top ten here. He’s expensive, so if you do draft him, you will need to find opportunities for good value elsewhere.

Brad Keselowski:
Keselowski has the third best average finishing position in the field with a 9.7. He has made the top ten 14 out of 23 times, and he has 4 wins to his credit this season. That makes Keselowski a high risk/high reward driver in this position. However, with a salary of $9,300, we think it’s a risk worth taking, especially if you avoid a few of the pricier drivers above him. These are great drivers, but a win by Keselowski is more likely than most of those around him. His fantasy point contribution of 44.7 is something that you will either see much higher than, or much lower than. We’re confident that there’s a higher chance of better than worse, and at this price that’s a risk that we can afford to take.

Kurt Busch: Busch stands as the best value in the field with a salary of just $8,900. He has the second best average finishing position in the field with his 9.4, and he has an even better top ten record than Harvick, making it 18 out of 23 races this year. His average fantasy contribution per race isn’t as high as it could be at 41.2, but with such a good track record, it is only a matter of time before his fantasy score catches up to his finishing record. The drawback is that three out of his last four races have been subpar for him. We’re hoping that this trend reverses soon, but at this price, that’s a risk that we are willing to take.

Joey Logano: Logano has a strong average finishing position of 10.2, and he is performing with a steady fantasy point score of 40.4. Logano is a great driver, and has had some strong races this year, but he’s in a tough spot with a salary of $9,500. There are talented drivers all around him, priced just above and below him. We like Logano, but there are better valued drivers out there. We can see him working well on many rosters, though. If you’re going to draft Logano, make sure you check out those around him very well to see if they will fit in your roster better.

Kyle Busch: Busch has more wins than any other driver this season with 5. He is the most expensive driver in the field with a salary of $10,600, but he is only third best when it comes to fantasy points, with an average of 50.4. Busch is a strong driver, but he’s expensive, and his average finishing spot is only 12.0. He is much like Keselowski in this race in that he’s a high risk/high reward draft pick, but he’s expensive, which places more risk in your court if you draft him. We can understand going either way with him, but we’re passing on him for this one.
