The Honda Classic is this weekend for the PGA Tour. Hosted in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the tournament looks like it could be very exciting. As part of our effort to help you draft the best possible daily fantasy golf roster, we’ve looked at a few of the more popular picks for this tournament, and have thrown in a couple of our top value picks, too.

Rory McIlroy: McIlroy is back in full swing for PGA action, and that’s a big threat for Jordan Spieth. However, Spieth isn’t playing in this one, and that means that McIlroy is the number one pick for this tournament, priced at $12,500 by DraftKings. Last week was McIlroy’s third PGA event of the season, his first of the calendar year. He finished T20 there, putting up 76.5 fantasy points. Definitely not a great showing by him, but it was a good indicator of what he’s capable of. A lot of his poor results for this one was because of his final round. He shot three rounds under 70 (67, 69, 67), and then a 75 for his final round. Once he gains some stamina, McIlroy will be unstoppable. There’s a chance that he could be there this weekend, thanks to a pretty weak field. He’s more than likely to make the cut, but a win doesn’t seem quite in the cards just yet.

Adam Scott: Last week, in a strong field, Scott finished T2, a great showing. That’s likely inflated his price for this weekend which is set at $11,000, but he’s played in five tournaments this year, making the cut five times. He’s averaging 100.2 fantasy points per round, shooting 68.7 strokes per round. He even has two other top ten finishes this season. His price is high, but he’s playing great now. He’s done well against the top golfers in the world, so there’s no reason to believe he won’t do well here.

Rickie Fowler: Fowler is one of the hottest golfers in the game right now. He has played in four tournaments this season, making the cut in three of them. In those three, he finished 3rd, 5th, and 2nd. Fowler took the last couple weeks off, so he should be well rested and strong here. Despite his poor finish back in January, he is still averaging 68.7 strokes per round and 93.6 fantasy points per round. You almost need to draft him for this, even if he is the second most expensive player in the field at $11,700.

Branden Grace: Grace played in two PGA events late last year, doing remarkably well in them. These were 2016 season events, and this has made his price high at $10,300. He has averaged 102.5 fantasy points per round, with a stroke average of 68.1. These numbers make him seem like a great deal, but you should avoid him for this. First, he hasn’t played in a PGA event since November, and second, he hasn’t played in a strong field like this. Pass on Grace, even though he seems like a great value on this at first glance.

Phil Mickelson: Mickelson is off to a surprisingly great start for 2016. For this weekend, he’s priced probably a little cheaper than what he’s currently worth, too. He’s played in four tourneys, made the cut three times, and finished second at Pebble Beach two weeks ago. He’s cheap at $10,800, and he’s putting up an average of 91.4 fantasy points per game. He is also averaging a stroke count of just 68.5 points. Yes, Mickelson is older, and his best seasons are likely behind him. That doesn’t mean that he can’t play well this weekend. He’s on a hot streak, and he’s at a good price. He’s worth drafting if you need a tested talent at a mid-tier price. Mickelson is more than likely to make the cut, and is a big top five threat in this field.
