One of the most famed daily fantasy competitor on all the major sites, Condia, was finally taken down by WinDaily. This is not to brag, this is to tell you how good this guy really is. We’ve gone up against him on many different occasions. We’ve come close a lot, but he always seemed to pull out the victory. I also can’t remember off top of my head, how much we’ve invested in these games against him, but we got a return last night.

He has a tendency to put out a lineup and go against as many people as possible. His small games go as low as $2 and his big ones go up to $5300 head to head. I’m not exactly sure if he goes bigger, but these are the games we’ve seen. It always astonishes me to see the wins he gets, not only in head to head, but in 50-50, and big tournaments. He is always cashing. Is he a BOT? The key of course is to catch him on an off night. For us, it was last night. We actually had two different lineups that went against him. They both came out positive.

Taking down Condia

This was one of our matchups at Draftkings

As you can see in the game above, we had some of the same players, but certain guys didn’t really work out for him. He paid a lot for a poor performing Dwayne Wade. ALthough my shooting guard sucked, I was able to make up for it with Stephen Curry and D.J. Augustin. Both they guys produced the amount I needed in the guard position.

Looking at another matchup

This matchup was much closer.

We had to wait for Stephen Curry in this game and we didn’t have D.J. to back him up. We actually only had three guys that were different in the lineup. We were able to make Stephen Curry work with Pope and Hill. This gave us the 10 point victory.

The fact that I’m talking about these games shows you how good of a one day fantasy player he is. We recommend avoiding him in competition if you can. It’s just not worth his price tag. He usually wins, which means you will most likely lose. Unless you are feeling really good about something move on to a different competitor.

As we move into the later part of the week, there will be some decisions that need to made. Do I really want to face Condia again? There are a lot of good players at the main sites. Most of them have challenge games listed throughout. From the low entry games all the way up to the big ones. They play the number everyday. If you are just a casual player, there is no need to force matchups against the pros. They have a lot of ego, but at the same time, they know what they are doing. Yes, you can put a winning team together, but you better be ready for some losses. If you stick to the bigger fields and just look to double up, you may end up finding a good knack for winning. After some time doing this, then you can take on your own ego and challenge these guys. Good luck in your next game.
