Before you settle in and start thinking that your fantasy football season is a bust, know that there are still 7 weeks of the regular season left, and that’s plenty of time to turn things around with a strong finish to your daily fantasy football season. Week #11 is here, and before you draft your team, take a look at our analysis to give your roster a jump start. There’s plenty of data out there now to help you make great decisions, and our goal is to help you take your game to the next level.

Quarterback to Start

Tom Brady: It is very tempting to draft Brady at QB this week, but it might not be the best decision for you. Yes, Brady is on fire. Even when he loses, like he did last week against Seattle, he is still putting up a lot of fantasy points. Last week was one of his tougher games, yet he still threw 23 completions for a total of 316 yards. There were no touchdowns and 1 interception. Brady struggled, yet still managed to be a decent addition to many fantasy teams. This week, he is going against a weaker team in San Francisco, but that doesn’t mean he is the best choice. He is expensive this week, and that is a major factor here. He will play well, but at his price, there is more potential out there.

Marcus Mariota: Who would have thought that Mariota would be the top pick at QB this week? He had an amazing performance last week with 4 touchdown passes, and this week, he is seeing the #28 ranked defense against QBs in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts. He is likely to be much cheaper than Tom Brady, and has just about the same point ceiling as Brady, making him a much more lucrative pick for your fantasy team, allowing you to save money for other positions.

Wide Receiver in the Mix

Antonio Brown: Brown is the most expensive WR in the NFL right now, and there’s no reason to expect otherwise. He has 7 touchdowns this season, is averaging more than 92 yards receiving per game, and has 69 catches. Brown is a fantasy point machine, and this week shouldn’t be any different. The Cleveland Browns are weak against both the pass and against quarterbacks, allowing a great opportunity for QB Ben Roethlisberger to have plenty of opportunities to get the ball to Brown.

Odell Beckham, Jr.: Beckham can be an appealing choice here. The Chicago Bears are the worst defense in the NFL against the pass, and this could be a good opportunity for Beckham to have a breakout game. But NY QB Eli Manning is struggling this season, and the Bears do have a decent defense against the QB. Beckham has been such an unpredictable fantasy choice this season that this tilts the odds against him just enough to make Brown the superior choice, even if he’s more expensive.

Running Back Come in Strong

Ezekiel Elliott: Elliott is the hottest rookie in the NFL this year, and has been one of the top fantasy producers week after week. But the Cowboys are going against a strong Baltimore defense when it comes to the rushing game, and this is likely to be Elliott’s worst game yet this season. The Ravens are ranked #3 in the NFL against the rush. When you’re talking about an upper level RB, this is a tough hurdle to overcome, especially with a younger player. At his price, you are likely to find a more productive RB this weekend for cheaper.

LeSean McCoy: The Buffalo Bills RB has every opportunity to boost your fantasy performance this weekend. The Bills need a big win to keep their momentum in the AFC East alive, and this is a game that they can win. Cincinnati is ranked #23 in the NFL against the rush, and it’s no secret that QB Tyrod Taylor excels at this portion of the game. In most leagues, McCoy is likely to be at least $1,000 cheaper than Elliott, too. McCoy has averaged 85.4 yards per game this season and has 7 touchdowns. We should expect the yards number to be higher than normal this week, and a TD is definitely more likely than not.
