This weekend, the PGA Tour comes to Pebble Beach for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The defending champion is Brandt Snedeker, and although this isn’t the most competitive of tourneys, this does look like a strong field will be posted. We can start to get a feel for this by looking at last week’s outcome. Last week, the Waste Management Phoenix Open had an exciting end as Rickie Fowler imploded on the 17th hole of the final round, going from a sure victor to a playoff with Hideki Matsuyama. Matsuyama ended up winning the playoff, turning heads and causing people to question whether or not Fowler really deserves to be ranked as a top five golfer in the world. Also, performances by both Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson indicated that they might be in far better shape than critics assumed, finishing T11 and T14, respectively. This weekend’s tournament is bound to start answering some of these questions.

With that said, here are our top picks for the weekend in terms of daily fantasy golf performance.

Jordan Spieth: Spieth makes his PGA Tour debut for the year here, and the world’s number one golfer is the most expensive golfer going into Pebble Beach at $12,300. He will contribute to your team, and he will most likely finish in the top five in this tournament with ease. The only drawback is that he’s expensive, but he’s also the best, so it makes sense.

Brandt Snedeker: Snedeker is ranked number four for this event, according to his DraftKings salary of $11,100, but he’s the defending champ here, and he has one of the lowest stroke per round counts of any golfer entered at 69.1. Only a handful of golfers have better averages than him, including Spieth, Phil Mickelson, Kevin Na, and a few others. Thanks to Snedeker’s ability to peak early, his past successes on this course, and his already fast start, he seems like a good pick here. He might not post a top three finish, but he’s capable of it. His downside is his low fantasy contribution this year. He’s only averaging 77.9 fantasy points per tournament. He should do much better than this here.

Bubba Watson: Watson is one of the top golfers in the world, and his 103.0 fantasy points per weekend average right now gives him quite a boost if you’re thinking of drafting him. His salary of $10,900 is also quite attractive. He’s putting up 69.6 strokes per round, too, which is low enough to indicate he’s playing well right now. Thanks to the fact that he’s cheap, he’s almost a must have on your roster. The only thing that should give you pause is that his average has been severely boosted thanks to winning the World Challenge back in December. For the 2016 calendar year, his fantasy average stands at just over 90 points, and not the 103 mentioned above.

Jason Day: According to DraftKings, Day is the second best golfer going into this one. His salary is just below Spieth’s at $11,800. However, his stroke count is pretty high at 70.5 per round, and he’s only averaging 67.8 fantasy points per round. He is a good golfer, but hasn’t shown what he’s capable of so far this season. Until he does, Day should be avoided in daily fantasy golf settings.

Dustin Johnson: Johnson is the number three ranked golfer in this tourney. He’s played in four tournaments so far this season, has made all four cuts, and has made the top 10 twice. He’s averaging 92.9 fantasy points per tournament, too, which puts him near the top of all performers here. His stroke count per round is 69.9, which isn’t great, but good enough to cause you to consider him for your team. He’s expensive for this tournament at $11,400, which may be a disqualifier for him, but that’s something you will need to consider on a case by case basis depending upon what the rest of your roster looks like.
