Saturday brings us an eight game slate that has plenty of action. One of the games we look to target is the Sacramento Kings @ Los Angeles Clippers this should be a fun game to watch and one that provides plenty of fantasy value. We have plenty of star players playing Saturday such as Steph Curry, Demarcus Cousins, and Chris Paul. Draymond Green could be rested for this game so be sure to keep an eye out for that.

Point Guards

  • Damian Lillard – PG Portland Trailblazers Opponent – Philadelphia 76ers
This is an ideal matchup for Lillard who gets the 76ers who are just terrible. Philly is ranked 25th in overall defense but also play at the 6th fastest pace in the league so this game will feature plenty of fantasy opportunities. Damian has been extremely consistent and should be good for 45 fantasy points with a ceiling of 70.
  • Chris Paul – PG Los Angeles Clippers Opponent – Sacramento Kings
CP3 has a great matchup against the Kings who have the worst defense in the league. On top of that they rank 28th in the league at defending point guards. Since Blake Griffin went down with injury Paul has stepped his game up. He’s scored 45+ fantasy points in 4 straight and has went over 50 fantasy points in 2 of those games. DraftKings still hasn’t raised Paul’s price to where it should be so I’ll be taking advantage of that.

Who I’m Fading:

  • Kemba Walker
  • Jeff Teague

Shooting Guards

  • Khris Middleton – SG Milwaukee Bucks Opponent – Charlotte Hornets
The Bucks offense has been on a roll lately and a big part of that is Middleton. He’s a great play in tournaments because of his potential upside shown in two games earlier this season where he put up 50 fantasy points. While you shouldn’t expect that here you can expect around 40 points and they could bolster your team into the money.
  • Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – SG Detroit Pistons Opponent – Golden State Warriors
KCP barely comes out of the game it seems, he’s a lock for 35+ minutes on a nightly basis. On a night where the shooting guard depth isn’t great KCP becomes a great value play against a Warriors team that does give up 102 points per game.

Who I’m Fading:

  • Kobe Bryant
  • Avery Bradley

Small Forwards

  • Rudy Gay – SF Sacramento Kings Opponent – Los Angeles Clippers
I really like Rudy Gay in this spot Saturday. The Clippers matchup well with the Kings in every position except small forward. In fact, the Clippers have been really weak at the small forward this season being force to start Luc Richard Mbah A Moute which should be no match for Rudy. This will be one of the more up tempo games of the night and I love the matchup here. Gay is especially good in cash because he has a low floor but I like him in tournaments as well.
  • Otto Porter – SF Washington Wizards Opponent – Boson Celtics
The Wizards are banged up, and with nobody healthy in their frontcourt Porter has been picking up the slack. He’s been rebounding more and getting more shots which is a combination to attack in daily fantasy sports.

Who I’m Fading:

  • Joe Johnson
  • Nic Batum

Power Forwards

  • Paul Millsap – PF Atlanta Hawks Opponent – Brooklyn Nets
Not much to explain on this one, Millsap is an extremely consistent player and the Nets are terrible at defense.
  • Jabari Parker – PF Milwaukee Bucks Opponent – Charlotte Hornets
This is more of a punt play because Parker is a bit risky of a pick. With that being said, I do think he’s in a goody spot here. He doesn’t seem to have any minute restrictions anymore as he’s consistently getting over 30 minutes a game. He is a nice value play so you can pay up for your superstars.

Who I’m Fading:

  • Kristaps Porzingis
  • Zach Randolph

Centers

  • Brook Lopez – C Brooklyn Nets Opponent – Atlanta Hawks
Lopez has the highest usage rate among centers this season and has a great matchup against the Hawks. The Hawks rank 21st against centers this season meaning Lopez should have a field day. With such a high floor, Lopez becomes a great cash option Saturday.
  • Al Horford – C Atlanta Hawks Opponent – Brooklyn Nets
As I praise Brook’s offense his defense is nothing to brag about. Brooklyn ranks 28th this year against opposing centers and the Hawks big men have been playing well lately highlighted by Horford’s 66 fantasy point outburst. In DraftKings getting both of these centers is not a bad play as they will be dueling with each other all night.

Who I’m Fading:

  • Marc Gasol
  • Mason Plumlee
